Hi, I’m Mikyla (pronounced mik-eye-la)—owner of Scottsdale Candle Co., wife, soon-to-be mama, and someone who believes in making beauty out of the everyday.
I built this business around the things that matter most to me: scent, soul, sustainability, and slow moments. Whether I’m traveling the world, pouring wax in the studio, or sharing a quiet night at home with my husband, I believe life is made sacred in the simple, intentional details.
This is more than a candle company—it’s a reflection of how I move through the world: with kindness, creativity, and a deep devotion to growth.
With the help of my family (my dad and brother-in-law are by my side every day), we turn discarded glass into something that carries meaning. Each candle is hand-poured with care, crafted to reconnect you to your senses, your space, and yourself.

Sustainability isn’t a trend for us—it’s the heart of what we do. Every candle we make begins with a bottle that once held a celebration, a memory, or a good night out. We cut, clean, and polish each one by hand, transforming discarded glass into something meaningful.
We’re proudly a zero-waste company. Any bottle we don’t use is recycled back into the system and reborn as new glass—nothing ends up in the landfill. It’s our way of honoring the earth while creating candles that spark emotion and connection.

Our Story
How it Started
Scottsdale Candle Co. began with a simple idea: what if beautiful bottles didn’t have to be thrown away?
It started in a backyard with a few tossed champagne bottles, a small pot of wax, and the belief that even the most overlooked things—like an empty bottle—could be reborn into something worth keeping.
From pop-up markets and hand-cut vessels to custom wedding favors and private-label lines, the company grew candle by candle, bottle by bottle.
Today, we honor that original spark by staying true to the mission: repurpose with purpose, pour with meaning, and make every scent feel like a memory.
